Neurodivergent Couples Therapy & Support in California

Neurodivergent Love Is Not Broken

Honest, steady support for couples and adults who are done trying to fit a mold that was never made for them.

At Love on the Autism Spectrum, you don’t need to explain yourself before you’re believed. You don’t need to have the right words, the right diagnosis, or the right story.

You need a space that moves at the speed of your nervous system. That’s what this is.

How We Can Help

Are you and/or your partner neurodiverse?

Whether you’re an individual or part of a neurodivergent relationship, this work is designed to support your nervous system — not push past it. When safety, pacing, and communication styles truly align, healing and connection become more sustainable — especially for autistic, ADHD, AuDHD, and trauma-impacted adults.

Challenge 1:

Are you longing for a real connection in your neurodiverse relationship, but stuck in the same painful patterns — no matter how hard you both keep trying?

The path forward isn’t trying harder. It’s finally understanding how you’re each wired — and building from there.

Challenge 2:

Are you exhausted from carrying the emotional weight in your relationship with a neurodivergent partner, wondering if support could finally feel like it fits you, too?

You have needs. They matter. And you don’t have to keep disappearing into the role of the one who holds it all.

Challenge 3:

Are you a late-diagnosed or self-identified neurodivergent adult craving clarity, self-trust, and support that finally honors how your brain — and heart — actually work?

You’re not broken. You were just never given a map that fit. This is the map.

Hi, I’m Barbara (Blaze) Lazarony

I see you. I was you. I am you. And you are not alone…anymore.

Hi, I’m Barbara Lazarony (she/her/they), most people call me Blaze. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #151788, neurodivergent couples specialist, and founder of Love on the Autism Spectrum.

I work with neurodivergent couples and individuals who are tired of trying to make approaches work that were never designed for how their minds and nervous systems actually function.

I’ve been in a neurodiverse marriage for over 40 years. I discovered my own neurodivergence at 57 — and when the relief set in, it felt like coming home to myself for the first time. I hold a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Sofia University, with advanced training in Autism, ADHD, and Complex Trauma. I’m the creator of the Neurodivergent Spiral of Life™ and the author of Unmasked Self-Acceptance: 365 Days of Coming Home to Who You Really Are.

My work is trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and grounded in one simple belief: neurodivergent love doesn’t need to be fixed. It needs to be understood and intentionally designed.

You deserve a relationship that feels steady. You deserve to be seen. And you are not alone anymore.

For deeper reflections on neurodivergent love, nervous systems, and coming home to yourself, find me on Substack at blazelazarony.substack.com
