If weekly therapy feels rushed or fragmented…
If you leave weekly therapy sessions feeling like more is being stirred up than soothed…
If you’re struggling to find time to slow down and reconnect—together—this retreat was made for you.

This private two-day retreat is a customized, immersive experience for neurodivergent couples who want to rebuild connection, deepen trust, and communicate with more clarity—while creating space for real healing, without pressure, pretending, or burnout.

What is the Balance & Bonding Time Private Two-Day Neurodiverse Couples Retreat?

This is a customized, compassionate experience—just the two of you and me—designed around:

  • Your wiring

  • Your nervous systems

  • Your emotional rhythms

  • Your desire to feel close again, safely and sustainably

This is not weekly therapy.
This is not a group program.
And it’s definitely not a crash-course in “how to be normal.”

Who is the Balance & Bonding Time Private Two-Day Neurodiverse Couples Retreat For?

This retreat is for you if:

    • You’re a neurodivergent couple (diagnosed or self-identifying)

    • You’ve tried therapy but still feel misunderstood

    • You long for connection, but can’t seem to get there without shutdowns or spirals

    • You want real tools that respect your pace, your processing, and your truth

    • You’re in love, but something isn’t working—and you want to find your way back to each other

What We’ll Explore Together…

Over five private sessions, we’ll gently move through:

Session 1: Foundations of Safety & Understanding Your Wiring

Learn how each of you processes emotions, connection, overwhelm, and sensory sensitivities—and how that shows up in your relationship.

Session 2: Building Safe and Respectful Communication

Practice language and pacing that feels safe, respectful, and emotionally real.

Session 3: Conflict, Repair & Reconnection

Ruptures happen. Learn how to return to each other with compassion, not confusion.

Session 4: Sensory-Aware Intimacy & Authentic Connection

Explore new ways of being close—physically and emotionally—on your terms.

Session 5: Celebrating Connection & Creating Your Plan

Leave with your personalized Relationship Resource Kit, and a plan for staying connected after the retreat ends.

Why Choose a Retreat Instead of Weekly Therapy?

Weekly therapy can be transformative—but for many neurodiverse couples, it often isn’t enough to create the deep, lasting changes they’re seeking.

Therapy can move slowly, focusing on incremental progress over time. This retreat, however, offers a focused and immersive experience designed to provide a meaningful reset.

It creates space for real growth and connection, with:

✔️ Real-time practice and actionable tools you can use immediately—not just homework to take home

✔️ A safe, supportive environment for co-regulation, open processing, and mutual understanding

✔️ Immediate clarity to break free from repetitive patterns and cycles of disconnection

✔️ Practical strategies you’ll learn and apply together in a nurturing, guided container

✔️ Each retreat is customized for you and your partner, that is why it is important to understand your unique needs and wants

This retreat is your opportunity to step away from the day-to-day and focus entirely on rebuilding connection, emotional safety, and understanding in a way that traditional therapy often can’t achieve.

What This Retreat Is Not

🛑 This is not a quick fix. You won’t walk away “cured”—you’ll walk away equipped with tools, insights, and practices to strengthen your connection.

🛑 This is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Each retreat is fully customized to meet the unique needs, wants, and dynamics of you and your partner.

🛑 This is not just about homework. Real-time practice, co-regulation, and guided support are at the heart of this immersive experience.

🛑 This is not a place for judgment or pressure. It’s a safe, nurturing space to process, connect, and grow together at your own pace.

🛑 This is not for couples in acute crisis or discernment. The retreat is for partners committed to staying together and ready to invest in their relationship’s growth.

Each retreat is fully customized to meet the unique needs, wants, and dynamics of you and your partner.

What Past Clients Say

“We didn’t realize how much we needed this until we did it. The tools are amazing—but it’s the way Blaze held space for us that made the difference.”

“We feel close again. For real. And we’re not afraid of messing it up anymore.”

“This retreat changed how I see myself and my partner. It gave us hope—real, grounded hope.”

Let’s Connect

Because this retreat is private and personalized, space is limited and my schedule books quickly.

And if you’re interested, curious, or even cautiously hopeful… let’s talk.
I’ll help you feel into whether this is the right next step for your relationship.

A Few More Words…

You don’t need to be the same to stay close.
You don’t need to be perfect to build something beautiful.
You just need space to be seen—as you are.

That’s what Balance & Bonding Time: Private Two-Day Neurodiverse Couples Retreat offers.
And I’d be honored to take this journey with you.

With care,
Barbara (Blaze) Lazarony, LMFT

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this therapy? Do we have to be in crisis to attend?

Nope—and please, no!

This is not traditional therapy. It’s a private, therapeutic experience rooted in my clinical training, lived experience, and deep understanding of neurodivergent relationships. It’s designed for couples who want to feel close again—not those in crisis. You might be feeling stuck, disconnected, or like you keep missing each other. That’s enough of a reason to come.

Do we have to have a formal diagnosis to attend?

Not at all.

Many couples come when one or both partners suspect they may be neurodivergent—but haven’t been formally diagnosed. Whether you’re autistic, ADHD, highly sensitive, or just “wired differently,” this retreat is built to meet you with respect, flexibility, and care.

What if one of us communicates more than the other—or shuts down when things get hard?

That’s incredibly common, and it’s gently supported in this retreat. I create a space that honors both of your processing styles, emotional rhythms, and communication needs. No one will be pushed to “perform.” We move at a pace that helps both of you feel safe and seen.

What if I’m nervous about doing this kind of relationship work?

That’s okay—and totally normal.

This retreat isn’t about spilling your soul or fixing everything in two days. It’s about creating space for you to be yourself, speak (or listen) at your own pace, and find your way back to connection without pressure. You’ll never be forced to share more than you’re ready for. This is about safety, not spotlight.

Can we really get that much out of just two days?

Yes—and that’s exactly why I designed it this way.

This retreat gives you more guided, present-moment relational support than you’d get in two months of therapy. You’ll leave with a shared emotional language, tools for communication and repair, and a personalized Relationship Resource Kit to keep using long after the two days end.

Ready to Feel Close Again?

You don’t need to keep circling the same conversations.
You don’t have to go numb, shut down, or try to hold it all together on your own.
You just need space to reconnect—with support that actually fits how you both work.

Balance & Bonding Time: A Private Two-Day Neurodiverse Couples Retreat is that space.

If you’re ready for a reset that’s real, grounded, and guided with care, I invite you to take the next step.

Let’s help you both feel like a team again—without pressure, pretending, or burnout.
Just presence, practice, and healing that lasts.
